Five years ago, we received a request from Adria Mobil to develop a taillight element for their motorhomes. They wanted an element that could achieve the visual effect of the rear lights. We also obtained certain limitations, especially regarding the thickness of the lement. It could not exceed 3.5 mm. The project manager at Ged design was Mr. Georg Gedl, with experience and great ideas in the field of adhesive films.
After numerous samples and tests made in Adria Mobil laboratories, we were able to come up with the right solution that met all customer’s requirements. The 3D element for the taillight is made of chrome red self-adhesive film, glued to cut plexi glass and domed with polyurethane. Over the last four years, we have equipped quite a few motorhomes with thousands of these elements.
